●● AN application has been made to Cheshire East Council’s planning department for permission to demolish the former science block at Beech Hall School on Beech Hall Drive.

The block is a single storey brick building.

The application states that the building is no longer needed, as its function has been relocated to other buildings on the site.

Demolition would involve the removal of all asbestos containing materials. The remainder of the building would be demolished with mechanical excavators, using suitable attachments for demolition work. ●● KIDS Unlimited on Springwood Way on Tytherington Business Park is holding mum and toddler sessions every Monday from 10.30am-11.30am.

The ‘Creation Station’ sessions will run until December this year and offer the chance for mums to meet other mums and let their little ones get creative.

Sessions cost £3 and include tea or coffee for the mums. Those interested should just turn up on the day.

To find out more call the nursery on 01625 460690.

‘Creation Station’ will not take place on bank holiday Monday, August 31.
