Twins plan to take on book world

-

TWIN pupils who excelled in their A-levels have set their sights on a stellar storytelling career together.

Chelsea and Sasha Griffin, from Tytherington School, achieved five A grades and a B between them and now plan to team up after their respective studies at university to write illustrated short stories.

Video game fanatic Chelsea will study Game Art and her JK Rowling wannabe sister Sasha will study Creative Writing.

Mum Emma Richardson, 37, who lives with the girls and their brother Toby, three, on the Hurdsfield Estate, said: “They are both very determined and are really into their Japanese Manga comics.

“They would love to work together, with Sasha writing and Chelsea doing the illustrations.”

She added: “I wasn’t surprised at their results as they’ve always done really well at school. I am super proud of both of them.”

Praising both the Tytherington school and the girls’ primary school, Puss Bank, as ‘brilliant’, she said: “I have also always told them if you want nice things, you have to do well at school.”
