Only two weeks to go for award entries
TOP business brains in the area only have two weeks to submit entries into this year’s North East Cheshire Business Awards.
The deadline for businesses to enter the awards is on Wednesday, September 30.
There are 10 award categories which celebrate the best of business in the area at a glittering ceremony later this year.
They are open to entry from businesses from across theh area and db both h self and third party nominations are welcome.
The awards recognise outstanding achievement, leadership and a positive contribution to the success of the local business community.
And those who organise the awards cannot shout enough about how beneficial they are to businesses.
Jayne Pickstone, from Macclesfield Chamber of Commerce which runs the awards, said: “North East Cheshire has a vast array of talented and successful businesses, many of which go unrecognised.
“So whether you are just setting out or are well established, we would urge all businesses in the region to enter the awards.
“If you’re proud of your successes, then why not highlight them and enter?
“Entering will not only raise your profile through the awards press and radio coverage, but your business will be showcased to some of the most influen- tial people in the region from the public and private sectors.
“The objective judging process provides credible endorsement of the success of your business. And it will show your team that you care and will help you reflect on who has contributed to your success.
“It is absolutely free to enter and you can submit as many categories as you wish.”
Entries must be received by 5pm on Wednesday, September 30.
The categories are Business of the Year with Turnover over £5 million; Business of the Year with Turnover £1 million to £5 million; Small Business of the Year; Innovation and Design; Excellence in Customer Service; Team of the Year; Best use of Social Media; Start-up of the Year; Best Design/Creative Campaign; and Best Company to Work For.
Winners will be presented with their trophies at a gala dinner on Thursday, November 19 at The Mere.
