●● MACCLESFIELD Rugby Club is hosting a charity event to help poorly children.

Action for Sick Children is organising a ‘Ladies Evening’ on Friday September 25 from 7.30pm to 11pm.

There will be cocktails, canapes and semi-naked chocolatiers. Guests will also be entertained by professional mixologist.

Tickets are £25 per person and include a glass of pink fizz on arrival.

There will also be an opportunity to browse and buy from the likes of The Body Shop, Material Girls Boutique, All That Glitters and more.

The raffle on the night will be £5 per ticket and prizes include a Pandora bracelet, bag of wine, Essential Beauty voucher, Sublime Hairdressers voucher and more.

Tables of eight can be booked for £150 or for two people £40.

The Swan With Two Necks, on Chestergate, invites all musicians and singers to take to the stage on Wednesday, September 16 from 8pm. ●● FANCY getting fit and having a boogie.

Fitness dance classes are being held at Mykita on Snape Road on Wednesday, September 16, from 7.15pm to 8pm.

Dances featured include ballroom and latin. Lessons are £4.

The event starts at 6.30pm with drinks and dinner before kick-off at 8pm for the first game of the tournament, England v Fiji from Twickenham.
