Stay well this winter: The roadshow is part of the Stay Well Winter Campaign, a joint initiative from NHS England and Public Health England. The campaign and roadshow aim to help the public, and in particular those with long-term conditions and the over 65s, prepare for winter and ward off those winter illnesses to prevent a visit to hospital. Everyone is welcome; whatever your age or ability and whether you prefer to knit or crochet. We are a very relaxed and friendly group – often more sipping and chatting than knitting! No need to book and it is free to join – just come along and join us as new members are very welcome.
