Christmas tree fun

-

MOTTRAM Hall is getting into the festive spirit and inviting families to come and enjoy their 12 themed Christmas trees.

People are being encouraged to go and see the trees, which are each decorated with the ‘story time’ theme by ‘Lasting Memories’, and make a donation to the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT).

The trees, which include ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Alice in Wonderland’, will be sponsored by local companies, and all donations will go to CAFT. Guests visiting the hotel can request a map at reception, before going on a hunt for the trees.

And on Sunday, December 13, the hall will be hosting a magical children’s party to raise more funds for the charity.

The party will include singing Disney characters, Elsa and Anna and a number of fun activities, with children encouraged to wear fancy dress.

Tickets are £7.50 per child and all proceeds will be donated to CAFT, light snacks will be provided for children.

Michael Lavizani, general manager of Mottram Hall, said: “The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust is a fantastic local charity and we’re proud to be supporting the work they do. The whole team has really got behind this event, showing great enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved. We really hope that our small efforts are able to contribute towards the charity’s work this Christmas.”
