A WEDDING accessory company has scooped a prize at the Wedding Industry Awards.

Glorious Tiaras, which is based at the Makers’ Place in the Heritage Centre, won the North West Wedding Accessory Designer of the year, at an awards event held at Heaton House Farm.

It was the first time the business has entered the hotly contested event.

Heidi Reid, owner, has made it through to the national awards taking place in London on January 14.

The creative force behind the company is designer Heidi Reid who aims to create exquisite bridal headpieces, using pearls, gemstones and Swarovski crystals.

Heidi said: “I’m totally overwhelmed to have won.

“I’ve worked really hard since launching Glorious Tiaras three years ago, to create accessories that brides find inspiring, luxurious, and that provide that special addition to make a wedding day look come alive.

“My dream and vision for Glorious was to create a brand and personality of individuality, coupled with a hint of old-style glamour, and modern day luxury. I also support my brides using a wealth of experience as an accessory designer, to interpret want they want and make their wedding day look sparkle.

“I’m delighted to be flying the flag for the North West. The regional awards are based on my brides’ feedback, making this award even more special to me.”
