Park patrols increased

POLICE have stepped up patrols in Victoria Park after disrupting suspected drug dealers.

Officers interrupted two males in the park on Norton Street, Macclesfield, at 10.30am on Tuesday, January 5.

The suspects jumped over a wall and ran off, dumping a small amount of cannabis in a bush. Officers caught up with one, a 16-year-old from Macclesfield, who was released into the care of his father.
