Furniture set ablaze

A PILE of old furniture in the street is thought to have been set on fire deliberately.

Firefighters attended Barnard Close, Macclesfield, last night (Thursday, January 7) at 7.41pm and found old kitchen furniture on fire near garages. The Macclesfield crew used a hose reel jet to put the fire out.

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said it is believed the fire was started deliberately.
