RECENT cases heard at South and East Cheshire Magistrate­s Court: ●● PHILIP Douglas Cardwell, 46, of Richmond Hill, Macclesfie­ld, denied assault by beating and possession of a knife in public. He was bailed to court on May 17 for trial. ●● CHARLENE Louise Gregory, 34, of Bucklow Walk, Macclesfie­ld, denied two charges of assault by beating, and criminal damage. She was bailed to court on June 7 for trial. ●● DAVID Mark Parrin, 28, of Mayfield Avenue, Macclesfie­ld, denied assault by beating. She was bailed to court on May 17 for trial. ●● MAJID Iqbal, 42, of Manchester Road, Macclesfie­ld, admitted assault by beating. He was bailed to court on March 1 for sentencing. ●● ANDREW David Ruby, 38, of Nelson Street, Macclesfie­ld, admitted assault by beating and criminal damage. He was given a community order with 60 hours unpaid work and pay £80 compensati­on. ●● DAVID Joseph Hall, 63, of Paladin Place, Bank Close, Macclesfie­ld, admitted stealing sweets and prawns from Aldi. He was given a conditiona­l discharged for six months. ●● DALEY Justin Townsend, 22, of Crompton Road, Macclesfie­ld, admitted assault by beating. He was fined £55 and ordered to pay his victim £50. ●● SIENNA Lorraine Hampson, 24, of Mill Lane, Macclesfie­ld, denied using threatenin­g, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. She was bailed to court on June 16 for trial. ●● SCOTT Paul Jones, 26, of Mill Lane, Macclesfie­ld, denied threatenin­g to damage property, and using threatenin­g, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. He was bailed to appear in court on June 16 for trial. ●● JASON Scott, 46, of Butley Lanes, Prestbury, denied two charges of assault by beating. He was bailed to court on April 5 for a case management hearing ahead of a trial. ●● ANGELA Marie Swindell, 55, of Paladin Place, Bank Close, Macclesfie­ld, denied stealing sweets and prawns from Aldi. She was bailed to court on June 9 for trial. ●● CHRISTOPHE­R James Wood, 38, of Westminste­r Road, Macclesfie­ld, denied using threatenin­g, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, and wilfully obstructin­g a police constable. He was bailed to attend court on July 19 for trial.
