Radio Canalside 102.8FM

WE would like to congratulate Mark Blackman on his appointment to the role of deputy station manager.

Mark brings with him a great deal of radio and media experience and will be a great asset to our team. Mark said: “I feel absolutely honoured to be in this position to take Canalside to the next level.”

He will be instrumental in the training and development of our volunteers and will assume responsibility for our youth training scheme.

We are currently working on developing a working relationship with Enterprising Macclesfield, which is part of Make it Macclesfield, and will be working with people such as Tim Shercliff and Ray Clarke in pulling together lots of local community groups and charitable organisations to form a group that will be truly able to offer support throughout the community.

Our team now consists of Nick Wright, station manager, Mark Blackman, deputy station manager, Simon Leah, IT support manager, Trish Napier, admin support manager, Andy Hofton, fundraiser, Philippa Barnett, admin assistant, and not forgetting our chairman, Brian Moores.
