Spanish sojourn for King’s girls
KING’S Girls Division netballer and hockey players are off to the Rock for a mini tour of Gibraltar and southern Spain over Easter.
The party of 26 girls supervised by four staff will play two netball matches in the British colony before two hockey teams each play two games in Spain.
King’s Girls’ Division Coordinator for Extra Curricular Sport, Lisa Booker, said: “The tour builds on the success of the senior tour to Barbados in 2014 and will give some talented young sportswomen the chance to consolidate their skills and build team spirit at the end of the season, ready for the challenges to come.”
Lisa added: “We are all looking forward to seeing the Barbary apes, going on a dolphin safari and exploring the coastal town of Malaga.”
King’s would like to thank ForFarmers livestock feed and Barrecorre Fitness for their generous sponsorship.
