Agang which flooded Mac­cles­field with class a drugs has been jailed for a to­tal of 35 years.

The deal­ers sold more than £426,000-worth of heroin and crack co­caine.

Ring­leader Thomas Flana­gan, 30, who has been de­scribed as ruth­less in his con­trol of the drugs em­pire, was jailed for eight years.

His step­fa­ther John Ham­ble­ton’s role as sec­ond in com­mand was at odds with his im­age as a ‘well-thought of’ crown green bowls player.
