Agang which flooded Macclesfie­ld with class a drugs has been jailed for a total of 35 years.

The dealers sold more than £426,000-worth of heroin and crack cocaine.

Ringleader Thomas Flanagan, 30, who has been described as ruthless in his control of the drugs empire, was jailed for eight years.

His stepfather John Hambleton’s role as second in command was at odds with his image as a ‘well-thought of’ crown green bowls player.
