SPRING FAIR

A SPRING fair will take place at a youth centre to raise funds.

Cre8 is holding the fair this weekend to raise money for an upcoming residential trip to the Camas Centre in Scotland.

Activities will include a bouncy castle, cake stall, sweet stall, tombola, face painting, plant and craft stall, sponge throwing and games.

The fair is from 1pm on Saturday, April 2 at St Barnabas Church, Lyme Avenue, Macclesfield.

ABBEY TALK

SWYTHAMLEY Historical Society welcomes Michael Fisher to its next meeting, which will focus on Dieulacres Abbey.

Michael, who has written the definitive book about the Cistercian Monsetry, based at Abbey Green near Leek, will be joining the group at 2.30pm on Saturday, April 9.

The talk will be given in Danebridge Chapel. Parking is limited.
