Name: Doreen Hatch. Which organisation are you involved with?: Age UK Cheshire East. What does the organisation do?: Improve later life for people 50+ in the Cheshire East area. How did you become a volunteer?: Decided I wanted to volunteer when the furniture showroom on Henderson Street, Macclesfield, opened. Which projects have you been involved with recently?: Selling furniture in the showroom and organising monthly day trips. What do you enjoy most about doing this?: Meeting new people and helping the public. What is your favourite place in Macclesfield?: Tytherington Family Worship Church. Ideally how would you spend every day?: Volunteering and attending church services at nursing homes. What was the best holiday you have been on?: Tour to Russia by coach. If money were no object what would you do?: Go on a world cruise. What one piece of advice would you give?: Help at least one person daily. What was your first job?: Window dresser for Woolworths. What is on your CD / MP3 player?: Worship and
country and western. What is your favourite TV show?: The game show Pointless. What are you reading at the moment?: The good work being done in Uganda by Rhona Marshall MBE. What is your biggest inspiration?: To be with the Lord one day. Who would you like to invite to dinner?: Cliff Richard.
