Name: Amin Kuhail Which organisati­on are you involved with?: East Cheshire NHS Trust What does the organisati­on do?: It runs Macclesfie­ld Hospital along with a wide range of community health services. How did you become a volunteer?: I contacted the hospital and took part in inductions around NHS policies and rules. Which projects have you been involved with recently?: I have been working on ward four at Macclesfie­ld Hospital, helping with filing and correspond­ence. What do you enjoy most about doing this?: I have the feeling that I am doing good things with my life and I work with nice employees as well. What is your favourite place in Macclesfie­ld?: Macclesfie­ld town centre. Ideally how would you spend every day?: Meet friends, speak with my friends in my country (Palestine), go to the gym and watch movies. What was the best holiday you have been on?: A beach holiday with friends and family in my home country, Palestine. If money was no object what would you do?: Travel and see the world. What one piece of advice would you give?: Work hard today for a better tomorrow. Smile: You’re never fully dressed without a smile. What was your first job?: I have not had a full-time job yet, I am volunteeri­ng at the hospital to get some valuable workplace experience. What is on your CD / MP3 player?: English and Arabic music, including Rihanna, Alicia Keys and Jessie J. What is your favourite TV show?: Football matches. What are you reading at the moment?: I am preparing for my exams right now so I am reading my A-level books. What is your biggest inspiratio­n?: The future. It is the journey into the unknown, the quest for knowledge. My faith in almighty god. With him, all things are possible; without him, life is uncertain and meaningles­s.
