WE ALL love a good party, and what better excuse to throw one than for the Queen’s 90th birthday?

On Saturday, 10,000 guests will head to London for the biggest-ever street party to celebrate the milestone – but we reckon Maxonians can out-do them.

The Patron’s Lunch will take place on Sunday, June 12, on The Mall, and is the perfect opportunity for people across the country to get together and have a good time, all while raising much-needed funds for local causes.

There are many ways to get involved, be it a small gathering in a church hall or a party in your cul-desac, it’s all about celebrating.

It doesn’t have to be on the same day as the London event, it can be whenever or wherever you like.

A momentous occasion such as this deserves a decent spread, so don’t forget to tell us what your plans are and send in your photographs from you big day.
