Magnificent Six defend their title at quiz battle
QUIZ teams will be testing their general knowledge at the Party On The Pitch from 7pm on Friday, June 10.
The quiz night in teepees at Macclesfield Rugby Club kicks off a weekend of entertainment run by East Cheshire Hospice.
The quiz committee, which organises three competitions a year, is hoping for around 30 teams at this bumper quiz night.

Teams are a maximum of eight with entry £10 per person.
Organiser Alison Brammer said: “The quiz nights in aid of the hospice are a longstanding tradition and have been growing in popularity.
It’s a fun night and not too serious and raises money for such a good cause.”
Quiz masters Paul Morrissey, vice chair of the charity’s trustees, and Mark Watson, who helps organise the Macclesfield Pub Quiz League, will be firing the questions.
Defending their title will be the Magnificent Six, captained by longtime supporter Neil Drummond, who won the last event at Marlborough Primary School in March.
