●● THERE was a lot of love for our Macclesfield triplets who turned 60 this week.

Maureen Whitton: Happy birthday to you all. I remember you growing up around the Moss estate as children xx

Kath Brough: Happy birthday.

Brenda Oates: Happy birthday Susan. From Brenda n Harry Australia.

Linda Higginson: Happy birthday miss u girls xxxx

Vivienne Landers: Happy Birthday to you all.

Chris Edge: Congrats to you all.

Gillian McAtamney: From Stanthorpe, Queensland, Australia.

Andy Wilson: All the very best. ●● SOME readers were keen to support Macclesfield Hospital after it was revealed the East Cheshire NHS Trust, which runs Macclesfield Hospital, has settled a legal claim brought by a mum whose baby died. Lisa Marie Gosling: This is so sad. But I have had three children at Macclesfield Hospital. I was treated wonderfully each time. All the staff were helpful and friendly. I cannot fault them myself especially when I had problems with the birth of my last child x

Jessica Maple: Whilst this is terribly sad, and my heart goes out to the family involved, I had excellent care through both of my pregnancies at Macclesfield.

Sarah Lloyd: My first pregnancy/birth was with Macc Hospital in 2014 and they were fantastic! However I’m due to give birth again in 12 weeks time and the staff shortage in that department is also worrying me and plus stories like this don’t help at all.

Jon Stuart Baker: Such a shame, recently spent a lot of time in there with my girlfriend, can only say the staff were absolutely excellent ●● READERS were horrified to hear about the widow whose husband’s flowers were stolen from Macclesfield Crematorium.

June Donoghue: People have no respect these days. When my sister’s ashes were buried there were about 30 of us present and a woman jogger ran right through the centre of us. Macclesfield council’s reply to the complaint was ‘well it is a public place’.

Sonya Whittaker: There are seriously some sick people that live in this town!!!

Bez Weaver Smith: Edith a wonderful lady and her husband woz a great man who will be missed by many who loved him dearly. To take of the dead is just way below the belt.

Nick Hayes: The vile sort of people who do disgusting things like this and think it’s acceptable are the first to cause uproar if something similar happens to them or their family. There is no place for these scumbags in our society.

Deborah Julia White: You can look at it one way – imagine being such a saddo that you spend your time stealing flowers from graves etc. On our worst days we’re miles better than these people.

Linda Swindells: It’s sad this happens a lot, but is CCTV really the answer? Its awful enough having CCTV in public places being spied on our every move we don’t need cameras in cemeteries spying on people visiting loved ones as those moments are supposed to be private.

Stewart Powell: Unbelievable, what’s Macc come too when flowers on a grave aren’t safe?

Becky Taylor: About time they put cameras up in there!

Jayne Wildgoose: Absolutely disgusting.

Jenny Capper: Disrespectful on so many levels.

Karen Martin: Disgusting.

Margaret Hanson: Just how low can some people sink?

Karen Broomhead: Disgusting.

Michelle Goodwin: Would like to thank everyone for they kind messages, it means the world to me and my mum. But to the idiots who think it’s nothing, God help you if something happened to you and you needed the support from others! Thank God there are more good people out there than the scum.
