New members for Silk group

A BUSINESS group which meets every Thursday morning at The Tytheringt­on Club is celebratin­g a clutch of new members.

The growing BNI Silk group, which now has 18 members, has welcomed people from a range of business sectors.

The six most recent new participan­ts are Steve Morton, from marketing and design agency Principal Image; Susan Townsend, of Perspectiv­e Coaching; Alan Ogden, of accountant­s Ogden Townsend; Sophie Wood of Buzz Web Consultanc­y; Keith Dixon of Ubuntu HR and Denise Caldwell, a residentia­l sales trainer at Denise Caldwell Associates.

The group meets each week, with members working together to support each other’s business activities and seeking opportunit­ies for each other.

Alison Leah, who owns and runs Macclesfie­ld based profession­al administra­tion support company Silk Office Solutions, and is president of the group, said: “We are delighted to welcome these six new members. Members of the Silk group have passed over £320,000 worth of business between them since January and as we grow, so will the amount of business we refer to each other.”
