Mum takes charge of pre-school class

-

A MUM-OF-TWO has taken over the reins of a pre-school activity class.

Emily Clowes, from Macclesfield, has taken over the franchise of Jabberjacks in Macclesfield, Wilmslow and Knutsford, which has been run by Sue Wright for 14 years.

Jabberjacks is a class for parents and tots which helps children develop social and physical skills through song, role play and music.

Emily, who has two children, has been running parties and activity classes for the firm for 10 years, but is stepping in to take over the whole franchise.

She said: “I am so excited that I have been able to take this opportunity to buy the business from Sue. I absolutely love Jabberjacks and have always hoped to be able to run my own franchise. Now my daughter is starting school this is a perfect opportunity.

“Jabberjacks has been running for many years and has such a great reputation so it wasn’t a hard decision. I am really looking forward to starting the new term of our activity classes; my daughter loved them and is very excited that I will be doing more Jabberjacks”

She added: “One of the things that I love about Jabberjacks parties and classes are that they offer such a unique experience. Unlike some classes, they don’t focus on just one area or activity such as singing or music. They are passionate about a child’s development and help with physical and social skills, as well as incorporating music and rhythm and of course lots of fun.”

Franchise owner Sue Wright said: “I am so delighted that Emily has decided to take the opportunity to carry on the Jabberjacks business in this area. She has worked for Jabberjacks for over 10 years and has always been a big hit with the customers. I have lost count of the number of five star reviews she has had over the years.”

Jackie Johnstone, director for Jabberjacks Franchising, said: “We are delighted to welcome Emily to the Jabberjacks family.

“Emily has worked as both a nanny and crèche manager before joining Jabberjacks as a party leader. She is local, knows the area well and is a great ambassador for our fabulous parties and classes.”
