THE owner of number four Ashfield Drive in Tytherington has received planning permission to build a three storey house in place of the existing two storey one.

The new house will also have four bedrooms with an integral double garage. ●● THE Tytherington Club will hold a Bonfire and Firework Display on November 5 for all the family.

Gates will open at 5.30pm and the bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm.

This will be followed by a firework display at 7pm.

There will also be a funfair, food stalls and refreshments on the night. ●● A COFFEE morning held at Tytherington Family Worship Church in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care has raised £310 for the charity. ●● A BRIGHT and Light party at Tytherington Family Worship Church will be held on Monday, October 31.

The party aims to provide a fun evening for children aged four to 12 in place of Halloween.

Children are invited to come dressed up in a non-Halloween outfit and enjoy games, a disco and food.

The party will take place from 5.30 until 8pm.

The church also hosts a children’s group as part of its Sunday morning service.

Fusion Kids is held every Sunday during the second half of the service for children aged two and a half to 11 years. Children meet together in one group and have fun doing craft, quizzes and games while exploring the bible. When they reach year seven, they move into Fusion, the church’s group for teenagers, which takes place at the same time but focuses on discussion of topics relevant to teenagers as well as games.
