IT’S time to get your tickets for this year’s North East Cheshire Business Awards.

The deadline has now passed for entries into the awards which celebrate the best of business in Macclesfield and around the area and recognise talent in the borough’s companies.

They are taking place for the sixth time this year and will be presented at a glittering ceremony next month.

So now organisers of the event are urging people to be sure toy get hold of tickets in good time for the evening at The Mere in Knutsford.

This year has an exciting and well-known guest speaker in the form of pop mogul, TV star and record producer Pete Waterman.

Sue Bowden, from Macclesfield Chamber of Commerce, which is the lead organiser of the event, said: “With the deadline for entries now passed, our judges have the job of looking through the entries and coming up with a shortlist.

“So now we look to this year’s awards ceremony and encourage people to get their tickets in good time.

“It’s a fantastic black tie event and we have a great guest speaker this year with Pete Waterman coming to entertain us.

“It’s the perfect opportunity to entertain your colleagues and staff and meet other businesses from around the area.

“You’ll go away in a feelgood mood from what’s fast becoming the best business event in North East Cheshire.

“Our awards are dedicated to celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit, the success, talent and all that’s great about business in our area.

“We hope you will come and be part of it.”
