FRIENDSHIP group, The Oddfellows has teamed up with arts education charity The Big Draw to host a local art event - encouraging people to draw, craft and more.

Creatively putting pen to paper for pleasure is something many of us last engaged with in childhood. However, drawing and crafting can also relieve stress, distracting the mind from everyday worries. If you haven’t picked up a colouring pencil in decades, don’t worry, you’re not alone!

The event is open to everyone of all ages and talents and will be held at Macclesfield Museum on Wednesday October 19.

Its only £10 for a morning of learning a new craft, a laugh and chatter with friends and refreshments provided. It’s essential you book with Sharon on 01925 758117 beforehand.

Launch Party, a co-production between Bucket Club and Farnham Maltings, heads to The Fallibroome Academy on Thursday, October 27 at 7.30pm.

It tells the story of Martha and Vi who grew up side by side, watching the stars but recently they’ve drifted. While Martha has stayed in their home village, laying down roots, Vi has been across the globe training as an astronaut.
