●● PRESTBURY Amenity Society is hosting a dog show on Saturday, October 15 on the playing field at Bollin Grove.

There will be nine competitio­n classes and entry costs £1 per dog, per class.

The classes will consist of most handsome dog, most playful, best rescue or re-homed dog, best fancy dress and waggiest tail.

There will also be a prettiest bitch class, one for the scruffiest dog, one for veterans more than seven years old, and one for the cutest puppy under 18 months.

There will then be a final with all the winners from the nine classes.

The first class will start at 1pm. Registrati­on is at 12 noon at Bollin Grove, next to the guide hut, where there will be the chance to meet all the committee members of Prestbury Amenity Society.
