LADIES under 13s returned to form in style after defeat last week with a 7-0 win against Railroad Crewe FC.

The defensive line of Dids Parish, Ellie Pollard and Bobs Miller stood strong, allowing the forward line to flourish.

Olivia Delany returned from injury with a strong display of creativity and ruthlessness in front of goal, claiming three for herself and being involved the in the other four goals, all scored by Lily Fallon.

The under 11s played Hartford Hurriers, with the Sylks dominating the game, the first goal coming only after a few minutes with great goal from Ebony Stewart.

The back three of Eleanor Boyd, Holly Hurst and Elizabeth Lomas, dealt with anything thrown at the silks goal, allowing the forwards attack of Tatiana Pollard putting great cross for Rosie Ashton to slot into the net. It wasn’t long before Ebony was back on the score sheet assisted by Elizabeth Lomas.

The second game was against Sandbach Eagles, a game of two halves, with Sylks taking early lead through Ebony Stewart with Rosie Ashton scoring a second after goalmouth scramble. The second half saw Sandbach put Sylks defense under pressure, with Sylks conceding early goal, another flowed shortly after with great free kick from Sandbach put the ball over the wall and past the keeper.

The rest of the game was tight with chances falling to both teams, but ended in well deserved draw. Notable performances coming from Tatiana Pollard and Holly Hurst.
