Name: Maddy Blunn. Hometown: Tytheringt­on. Job: Student at Tytheringt­on School. Which theatre company are you involved with: Bollington Festival Players, Art House Theatre and Dance. Are you taking part in any production­s at the moment: Currently rehearsing for The Pied Piper with the Bollington Festival Players and my school Christmas panto. Who is your character in The Pied Piper?: Heidi. How long have you been with the Bollington Festival Players?: This is my first performanc­e with them. What do you like about the character you are currently playing?: I like playing Heidi because she is a cheerful, happy character that always sees the bright side of situations. What do you most enjoy: I most enjoy the atmosphere at rehearsals and working with people of all ages from different schools and different background­s. Have you been in any other production­s: I was in Babes in the Wood, Bugsy Malone and Back to the 80s. If you could play any part what would it be and why?: Roxy from Chicago because she gets to sing, act and dance together in the same show while playing a complicate­d character. Are you involved in any other projects at the moment?: I’m currently practising for a dance show (Ballet, Tap and Pointe) I’m in during the summer. What do you most enjoy about doing this?: I love dance with a passion, so getting to dance on stage with all my friends from Art House is where I’m happiest. Who is your favourite actor and why?: Emma Watson is my favourite actress because I think it’s amazing how she was so good at acting at such a young age. Bollington Festival Players will be performing at the Bollington Arts Centre on Friday, January 6, Saturday, January 7 and from Wednesday, January 11 to Saturday, January 14 at 7.30pm.
