Flinders and Dudley in at the Moss

- SHELDAN KEAY

MACCLESFIELD Town have been busy shaking things up this week after several changes were made to the squad.

The Silkmen have had two new arrivals, with goalkeeper Scott Flinders re-joining the club, while forward Anthony Dudley has also arrived from Bury.

There have also been two temporary departures though, as Chris Sutherland has joined Hyde United on a one-month loan deal, while Sam Madeley has made the loan switch to Nantwich Town.

New signing Flinders had a loan spell at Macc earlier this season before returning to his parent club York City, but left the side last week.

That allows him to join Macclesfield for the remainder of the 2016/17 season, where he will look to build on the five appearances he made for the Silkmen at the start of the campaign.

The 30-year-old has plenty of experience under his belt, having made over 350 league starts during his career, spending time at Crystal Palace, Brighton, Barnsley, Blackpool, Gillingham, Hartlepool, Yeovil and Falkirk.

Bury striker Dudley will be joining him at the Moss Rose for the remainder of the season, as part of the deal that saw Jack Mackreth sign for Bury last week.

The 20-year-old has made six appearances for Bury during his time with the League One side, and also spent a loan spell with National League outfit Guiseley last season, scoring seven goals in just 16 games for the Lions.

The duo were expected to be in the Macclesfield squad for Tuesday evening’s game against Dover as the Express went to print.
