CANALSIDE 102.8 FM

IT’S a new year and here at your only truly local radio station for Macclesfield and its surrounding areas we are pleased to announce that we will be launching a new website on March 1.

The website, of which more details will be announced over the coming weeks, will be dedicated to all radiorelated items, and will include such things as the broadcasting schedule, presenter profiles, competitions and much more.

We will continue, on behalf of the Make it Macclesfield business forum, to manage the website www.thethread. org.uk which will continue to include all local news items, and probably more importantly the What’s On guide which is the number one website where you can find out what events are taking place in North East Cheshire and adjacent towns and cities.

We will publish, free of charge, events ranging from jumble sales to major music festivals.

You can even come on air to publicise your event or community organisation if you would like to.

We will be having a little change to who presents our what’s on guides. Listen out on 102.8FM to hear your favourite presenters letting you know what’s happening. We have also re-branded ourselves and our logo on the new website and social media sites will read ‘Canalside Radio + Community Media for North East Cheshire’.
