COURT ORDER

A MAN has admitted harassing a woman by sending her emails and driving past her work.

Martin Hahn, 53, put the victim through the ordeal for almost 12 weeks last year.

He originally denied the charge of harassment, but on the day of his trial Hahn, of Paradise Street, Macclesfield, pleaded guilty.

At Stockport magistrates court, he was sentenced to a community order for nine months.

As part of the sentence he must complete 100 hours unpaid work and attend up to 15 days rehabilitation activity requirement.

In court documents Hahn admitted that the harassment involved sending numerous emails and driving past her place of work on several occasions.

It started on August 16 and lasted on November 5.

To protect the victim the court issued a restraining order banning Hahn from any contact with the victim for two years.

The order included a ban from going within 400m of an address in Birch Vale.

He was ordered to pay £100 compensation to the victim, as well paying £300 towards prosecution costs, and £85 in other court costs.
