THE news that Bits n Pieces on Chestergate has closed got one of the biggest responses from our readers (Express, February 22). Sian Hussey: Chestergate won’t ever look the same again. Going to miss Bits and Pieces, popping in to say hello and looking for any games we didn’t have. All the very best to you Julian. Pete Watson: Such a shame been going there since I was a teenager when they were down on church Street! Maggie Scott: I remember their old shop on Penny-wise hill so well, was always in there. Shaun Lomax: Always remember the life size Lara Croft statue. Stephen Benson: A real shame. We have been using this shop for years, great service. I wish Julian all the best for the future.
