We send congratulations to another of our supporters, James Nicholas, who was elected as a Cheshire East councillor for Bollington in an election that took place on Thursday, February 16.

James joins Amanda Stott as the Cheshire East councillors for Bollington.

In the Bollington Town Council election that took place on the same day, Roland Edwards and Anthony Harrison were elected to represent the Central ward.

We will be asking all the councillors, in due course, to come to the studio for interviews where they will tell us all about what they are doing and which topics are affecting the people of Bollington.

Our Uncle Brian, Brian Moores, is busy arranging interviews with people from local community organisations.

The Mayor of Macclesfield, Councillor Alift Harewood-Jones, representatives of the East Cheshire Hospice, Macclesfield Eye Society, the Macclesfield branch of Arthritis UK, and the town clerks of Bollington and Macclesfield are all coming to be interviewed over the next few weeks.
