Egg appeal for children
THE Co-op is asking residents to donate chocolate eggs for children at Macclesfield Hospital.
Co-op stores across Macclesfield have joined forces to run an Easter egg donation scheme from Saturday, April 1, until Thursday, April 13.
Dave Dundas, a team manager at the Co-op’s Hurdsfield Road store, said: “It is heart-warming that so many people take the time to think of others. A small donation really will add to up to a huge difference and put a smile on the faces of children from our communities who are spending time in hospital this Easter.”
Donations can be made at the stores in Macclesfield, Prestbury Village and Bollington.
