Firm’s fundraising mission brings charities together

-

A SOLICITOR firm continues its mission to raise as much money as possible for local charities.

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Jobling Gowler set up the ‘Twenty 4 20’ campaign to raise funds for 20 charities and projects.

The chosen charities include East Cheshire Hospice, Just Drop In, Macclesfield Eye Society and the Rossendale Trust.

As part of its ongoing mission, the firm held a networking event for the charities to promote discussion and co-operation between local organisations and charities.

Heather Jobling, senior partner of Jobling Gowler, said: “I am pleased that the evening has been a resounding success and that the feedback from those who attended has been very positive as they and their charities felt really valued in the local community.”

Macclesfield MP David Rutley, who also attended the event, said: “I would like to congratulate Jobling Gowler on their anniversary and on the successful launch of the Twenty 4 20 campaign.

“It is positive to see that a valued member of the Macclesfield business community is taking such positive steps to raise funds and support the invaluable work of local charities.

“I know it will make a real difference.”

As part of the Twenty 4 20 campaign, Jobling Gowler will donate £20 for every will they make for clients during 2017.

Staff will also host art exhibitions, organise sponsored dog walks and run the Macclesfield half marathon.

All these activities will help the firm achieve its aim of raising as much money as possible to support the vulnerable and disadvantaged in the Macclesfield community.
