Fans can get in for FREE on Satur­day

MAC­CLES­FIELD Town have an­nounced they are of­fer­ing FREE EN­TRY to all sup­port­ers for this Satur­day’s home game against Sut­ton.

It will be the Silk­men’s fi­nal match of the league cam­paign, with the de­ci­sion now made to in­vite both home and away fans to watch the game at the Moss Rose free of charge.

Club chair­man Mark Blower is de­lighted to make the of­fer to the fans, and hopes that there will be a large fol­low­ing there to cheer on the team.

“We were re­ally keen to thank our sup­port­ers for an­other sea­son of fan­tas­tic sup­port and this game is the per­fect

op­por­tu­nity to do so,” he said.

“We’re hop­ing that the peo­ple of Mac­cles­field re­ally turn out in large num­bers and get be­hind the team for the game and hope­fully we can put on a good show to those who don’t reg­u­larly at­tend games with us.

“So far we have nearly sold 4,000 tick­ets for the game at Wem­b­ley but this is an op­por­tu­nity for those ex­tra sup­port­ers to come down and get to know the team at more fa­mil­iar sur­round­ings.

“Af­ter the game we are host­ing the ‘Player of the Year’ Awards evening in the McIl­roy Suite so this is a real chance for peo­ple to get a feel for the football club and hope­fully we can make a big im­pres­sion.”

Kick-off for Satur­day’s game against Sut­ton is at the ear­lier time of 12:15pm, with fans urged to ar­rive early to beat the large queues at the turn­stiles.
