MACCLESFIELD Town have announced they are offering FREE ENTRY to all supporters for this Saturday’s home game against Sutton.

It will be the Silkmen’s final match of the league campaign, with the decision now made to invite both home and away fans to watch the game at the Moss Rose free of charge.

Club chairman Mark Blower is delighted to make the offer to the fans, and hopes that there will be a large following there to cheer on the team.

opportunity to do so,” he said.

“We’re hoping that the people of Macclesfield really turn out in large numbers and get behind the team for the game and hopefully we can put on a good show to those who don’t regularly attend games with us.

“So far we have nearly sold 4,000 tickets for the game at Wembley but this is an opportunity for those extra supporters to come down and get to know the team at more familiar surroundings.

“After the game we are hosting the ‘Player of the Year’ Awards evening in the McIlroy Suite so this is a real chance for people to get a feel for the football club and hopefully we can make a big impression.”

Kick-off for Saturday’s game against Sutton is at the earlier time of 12:15pm, with fans urged to arrive early to beat the large queues at the turnstiles.
