A Sunday ‘Open to All’ Stableford at Styal was led in by Hassan Jafari with 42 points from Richard Baldwin 41. A White Tee medal at Styal saw Martin Ogden on top with 71 from David Marriott and Mike Doyle, both 72 and in a Wednesday Stableford James Bennett led in with 37 points, two more than Simon Tracey.

Styal seniors were in singles Stableford action and Michael Collier was unstoppabl­e with 42 points, four more than Chris Baillie. It needed a cpo on 36 points to take Anna Tunna into top place in a Styal ladies Stableford from Enid Laverty.

Prestbury’s men played a singles Stableford off White and Yellow Tees and in the White Tee competitio­n Glenn Marshall was out on his own with 42 points, three more than Michael Davis and Tam Byrne. Yellow Tee winner in a one-horse race was Anthony Bentley with 39 points, five more than Eric Bolam.

A Two division Stableford for Prestbury ladies had division one won by Myra Penkethman after a cpo on 35 points with Nicky Markland.

In division two it also needed a countback on 33 points to take Kirsten Forbes into top spot from Joan Crouch.

Grant Hamerton (Pike Fold) was the star pro of the day at Marriott Worsley Park as he led in the individual pro section with 40 points. This left him two points clear of Craig Corrigan, Phil Archer (Birchwood) and Jamie Howarth (Davenport).
