RECENT cases from South and East Cheshire magistrate­s court:

OWEN Michael Reith, 25, of Pennine Court, Macclesfie­ld, admitted possessing cannabis. He was given a conditiona­l discharge.

ANTHONY Carmichael Willis, 48, of Bainbridge Close, Manchester, admitted drug driving in Macclesfie­ld. He was fined £120 and banned for 12 months.

JACKIE Gibson, 54, of Byron’s Lane, Macclesfie­ld, was found guilty in her absence of littering a cigarette on Exchange Street. She was fined £220 with £180 costs.

VITALIJS Kabankovs, 33, of Winster Avenue, Salford, was found guilty in his absence of littering a cigarette at the bus station in Macclesfie­ld. He was fined £220 with £180 costs.

ELEANOR Alicia Lucy Lewis, 23, of Crown Street West, Macclesfie­ld, was found guilty in her absence of littering a cigarette on Mill Street. She was fined £220 with £180 costs.

DANIEL Lomas, 27, of Kendal Road, Macclesfie­ld, was found guilty in his absence of littering a cigarette on Exchange Street. He was fined £220 with £180 costs.

JACQUI Schofield, 23, of Crown Street West, Macclesfie­ld, was found guilty in her absence of littering a cigarette on Mill Street. He was fined £220 with £180 costs.

ANDREW John Cheadle, 47, of Rydal Way, Newcastle Under Lyme, admitted attempting to have in his possession 100g of Alpha-PVP on January 26 in Macclesfie­ld and possession of CS Gas in Newcastle. He was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison suspended for 18 months. In court documents it said the suspended sentenced was due to his health issues.

SUSAN Cooper, 33, of Rydal Way, Newcastle Under Lyme, admitted attempting to have in his possession 100g of Alpha-PVP on January 26 in Macclesfie­ld. She was given a conditiona­l discharge for 24 months.

KIM Somerfield, 36, of Boon Avenue, Stoke-on- Trent, admitted attempting to have in his possession 100g of Alpha-PVP on January 26 in Macclesfie­ld. She was given a conditiona­l discharge for 24 months.

LEE Alexander Hodkinson, 19, of London Road, Macclesfie­ld, admitted theft of underwear. The offence was while subject to a conditiona­l discharge. He was given 80 hours unpaid work.

MICHELLE Lyndsey Lea, 37, of Hollands Place, Macclesfie­ld, admitted assault and criminal damage, and indicated a guilty plea to theft of a £10 note. She was bailed to attend court on May 30 for another hearing.

GARY Calum Oxley, 29, of Thornway, Stockport, appeared charged with dangerous driving at Over Alderley, failing to stop, possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession of cannabis, and driving without insurance. He was bailed to appear at Chester Crown Court on June 5.

JOHN David Stones, 25, of Oxendale Drive, Middleton, admitted three charges of drug driving in Macclesfie­ld and possession of cannabis. He was given 80 hours unpaid work and banned for 14 months.

JAMIE Fairbrothe­r, 26, of Parkgate Road, Macclesfie­ld, indicated a plea of guilty to possession of cannabis, possessing criminal property namely several hundred pounds in cash, and supplying cannabis resin to another. He was bailed to be sentenced on May 23.

LEE Jack Johnson, 18, of Briarwood Avenue, Macclesfie­ld, admitted using threatenin­g or abusive words of behaviour at B&M Bargains. He was fined £120.

PAUL Anthony Johnson, 29, of Eaton Lane, Macclesfie­ld, admitted using threatenin­g, abusive or insulting words of behaviour at B&M Bargains. He was fined £500.

STEPHEN Christophe­r Hayes, 32, of Goostrey Court, Congleton, admitted drug driving in Macclesfie­ld and driving without a licence or insurance. He was fined £120 and banned for 22 months.

THOMAS David Cole, 30, of Parkgate Road, Macclesfie­ld, was found guilty in his absence to assault.

JOHN Paul Ian Hulme, 41, of Beech Hall Drive, Macclesfie­ld, admitted obstructin­g a police constable and stopping a vehicle in a pelican controlled area. He was fined £270 and had his licence endorsed with three points.

DAVID Lee Mark Haslam, 36, of Beech Lane, Macclesfie­ld, was found guilty of assault. He was fined £60.

GRAHAM Beattie Osborne, 42, of Station Road, Shotts, admitted drink driving. He was fined £180 and banned for 12 months.
