New managing partner for law firm
A LAW firm has appointed a new managing partner.
Jeremy Orrell joined SAS Daniels, which has an office on Churchill Way, Macclesfield, in 2009 to head up its new corporate team, which has since quadrupled its turnover.
He became the firm’s Finance Partner in 2013 and has overseen a 50 per cent growth in the firm’s annual turnover to £9m. Mr Orrell is also recognised in Legal 500 as one of the region’s ‘leading individuals’ in his field.
He said: “It is a great honour to be appointed as the firm’s managing partner during such an exciting time for us.
“We continue to attract outstanding legal talent to the firm and as a result have an incredibly strong and growing client base, who value our resultsdriven approach to service delivery.
“We have enjoyed significant development and growth over the past five years and we intend to continue to build on this success in a controlled and strategic manner. We are committed to continuing our investment in developing the firm, our people and our clients.”
The firm has also appointed partner and head of music and media Andy Booth as deputy managing partner. Jonathan Whittaker remains as the firm’s senior partner.
Mr Whittaker said: “As our business has grown, so too has the need to adapt our management structure.
“The appointment of Jeremy to managing partner puts us in a superb position to continue to develop and meet the future needs of our clients. Jeremy will be pivotal in ensuring SAS Daniels continues to develop as a law firm and builds on our ongoing plans for growth.
“Having worked with Jeremy for many years, I have every confidence the firm will continue to flourish under his leadership and I will do all I can to support him. I wish him every success in his new role.”
