Top take up on tickets

MACCLESFIELD manager John Askey has revealed that the club have sold over 6,000 tickets so far for their FA Trophy final on Sunday.

“There’s been a really good response, I think there have been more tickets sold than in 1996 and despite what people think, people in Macc are getting behind us,” he said.

“You go out into the town and everyone is buzzing, we’ve been going into schools and enjoying it so I think more people will come and hopefully we get the right result.”

Tickets for the game and coach travel was still available as the Macclesfield Express went to press, while merchandise is available from the club shop and the Visitors Centre at the Town Hall.
