Eatery makeover marks past
A PIZZA restaurant has been given a makeover which celebrates the town’s past.
PizzaExpress in Market Place has a new colour scheme, and now features new panelling, banquette seating and brass lighting.
Artwork throughout the restaurant celebrates Macclesfield’s past, particularly its mills, factories and churches.
It also boasts framed prints showing areas of natural beauty just a short distance away from the town centre.
These include the iconic White Nancy in Bollington.
The transformed restaurant has black and white marbled tables with new leather chairs.
The bar has been relocated to the rear with the introduction of booth seating and new flooring.
Conor Johnson, manager, said while the restaurant looks different, guests can still expect the same eating and drinking experience.
He said: “We are incredibly excited to be relaunching our newly renovated restaurant in Macclesfield and can’t wait to invite new guests and regulars inside to see the changes.”
