A CHURCH in Bollington is holding a free bike fix and fun day where guests can enjoy a variety of activities and get their bikes prepared for the summer.

The bike fix and fun day is on Saturday, July 15.

People can get their bikes serviced and cleaned while they enjoy the bouncy castle, hair braiding, face painting and crafts.

There will also be an X-Box car race challenge with prizes for first, second and third place, plus hotdogs, drinks and snacks.

Held at the Life Church on Hawthorn Road, Bollington, the event runs from 11am until 3pm.

‘Bollington Balloons’ will be there between 1pm and 2pm.

THE 2nd Macclesfie­ld Guides have spaces available for girls aged between 10 and 14.

The group meets every Tuesday until 8.30pm at Parish Church Scout and Guide Hut, Station Street, Macclesfie­ld.

THE next MaccLaughs event is on Thursday, June 29.

The monthly comedy night will preview two full-length Edinburgh shows for the evening.

The event is held at Stanley Street Mill, Macclesfie­ld.

It runs from 7.30pm until 10.30pm.

Entrance is £7.50, or £8.50 on the door.

THE monthly lunch club at St Clements Court next meets at midday on Sunday, July 2.

The club, which includes entertainm­ent, will take place at St Clements Court, Hobson Street, Macclesfie­ld.

ON Sunday, July 2, there will be a free concert on the bandstand at Victoria Park.

KEMS Concert Band, with conductor Julia Harding, will perform from 2pm until 4pm.
