Grand opening for private GP surgery
A NEW private GP surgery which will run alongside an arts cafe and events centre has been launched in Macclesfield.
Pinches Medical Centre has taken up residence in Charles Roe House, on Churchill Way, and includes a private surgery and events centre as well as the arts cafe.
It’s run by Dr Stephanie Pinches and her husband Ian, who is the business director.
The centre was officially opened by Mayor of Macclesfield, Coun Beverley Dooley, with former politician Edwina Curry. Also there were Labour councillor Richard Watson and local historian Dorothy Bentley Smith.
Debbie Lomas, who works at the centre, said: “It was a huge success, with lots of local businesses and customers in attendance.”
