OUR nostalgia column brings you fascinating pictures taken in Macclesfield in days gone by. OUR new-look nostalgia picture spread now brings you a wide selection of old photographs each week.
We have teamed up with Macclesfield Library and Cheshire Archives and Local Studies to share old photographs from the archives and will be featuring several different images each week.
This week there are pictures from the early 20th century of children near West Park’s bowling green, the Cat Fiddle Inn and Bollington War Memorial. Readers can spot the differences between the locations today.
