Two new faces at haulier
ADLINGTON based haulier William Kirk Limited has welcomed two new apprentices to its 90-strong workforce.
The two apprentices, Joe Henshaw and Dillan Frost, will both be joining William Kirk on three year programmes.
Joe will work across the business in several departments while working towards his Customer Service Level 2 Diploma. From there he will move into the traffic office, where he will study traffic management.
Dillan will be working in the William Kirk Garage while completing his Level 2 and Level 3 Diplomas in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.

“These appointments show our commitment to growing and developing our staff, as well as welcoming young talent into not only William Kirk but the industry.
“William Kirk has been providing quality warehousing and distribution services for over 50 years in the local area so we are pleased to be investing in our future by bringing the next generation into the company.”
The apprenticeships are provided in partnership with Mantra Learning, which has been offering learning and skills programmes to support the logistics sector for over 40 years.
William Kirk currently employs 90 staff, and operates a fleet of 50 vehicles. It is also part of Kinaxia Logistics.
