All that Jazz at HOYS for Levis
YOUNG Jennifer Levis fullfiled her lifelong dream and rode her horse Greendale Maximo (Jazz) in to the Top Spec arena at the Horse of the Year Show on Friday.
Contending Hunter section in of the the Search For A Star series, Jenny could not hide her excitement.
“Jazz is a very special horse, she said.
“My mum and I have looked out for his breeding and produced him from home for this competition.”
Jazz was just as excited to be in the spot light as rider Jenny and he certainly let his high spirits show in the initial judging.
Going on to impress the judges in the in-hand conformation section he also gave the Ride Judge a nice forward fun ride.
The duo then lined up with all the other contenders awaiting the final placings .
Everyone held thier breath waiting, then as Jenny and Jazz were called forward into a fabulous seventh place tears of joy from family and friends could be seen all round.
“It was so amazing to get him here and ride at HOYS, to see him behave for the judge who rode him and the conformation judge loved him, he’s such a super horse,” said Jennifer.
Jazz and Jenny are now back to reality at home with many fabulous memories to keep then going over winter and judge’s comments to work on before they try to qualify again next year.
