Fun day for mums-to-be

A BABY, toddler and mum-to-be fun day will help new and expectant parents learn what’s available in the town.

The event is being organised by Nicki Lowden, who came up with the idea to show parents what’s on offer in terms of clubs and classes and support groups for parents and carers in Macclesfield.

There will be plenty of entertainment for babies and toddlers and parents and carers will be given the chance to learn all about the support groups available to them.

Nicki, who runs the dance school Dance Addicts, said: “The [first] event was an overwhelming success with 400 attendees at the two hour session and we raised £450 towards the development of the baby and toddler area at the venue, MAC Multiactivity Centre.

“I’m hoping again for the same community spirit we had last time.”

The next event will take place at MAC Multi Activity Centre, on Goodall Street, Macclesfield.

It will be held on Wednesday, November 15, from 12.30pm.
