Mullings eyes back to back promotion

MACCLESFIELD Town’s new loan signing Shamir Mullings is relishing the opportunity to show what he’s about at the Moss Rose.

The 24-year-old English forward joined the Silkmen from Forest Green Rovers this week on a two-month loan deal.

“I feel like Macclesfield are a good footballing team,” he said. “I know I’ll get loads of chances, and it’s about me putting them in the back of the net.”

Mullings was part of the Forest Green side that earned promotion to League Two last season, but has only played a handful of games for the club this term.
