Sam had lived with the condition for 10 years

AMAN who lived with a brain tumour for ten years has died at the age of 27. Former Fallibroome pupil Sam Burt had raised thousands for East Cheshire Hospice.

He was diagnosed with a brain tumour after suffering a seizure when he was 18. He became ill in recent months and passed away at the hospice on Wednesday, November 8.

In a tribute, his family described ‘car- ing and courageous’ Sam as a ‘true gentleman to the last’. Together with pal Nik Kalka, he raised £16,000 for the hospice.
