Accolades pour in for RedWillow
AN award winning brewery has another accolade for its trophy cabinet.
RedWillow’s ‘Wreckless’ pale ale has won Champion Beer of Cheshire at the Cheshire Beer Festival, sponsored by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).
And its ‘Smokeless’ 5.7pc smoked porter has been named the winner of the speciality category.
Molly TemperleyCassin, who is the manager of RedWillow’s bar at Park Green, said: “We’re over the moon with our recent success at the Cheshire Beer festival last week with Wreckless and Smokeless and already looking forward to next year. A massive thank you to all the hard work from CAMRA to organise a great yearly beer festival celebrating excellent beers.”
She added: “Our goal is to continually improve and innovate to produce beers which are full of flavour and well balanced.
“Our approach remains the same as it was when we started, simply to brew beers that we all love to drink and have fun doing it.”
The brewery, based on Byrons Lane in Macclesfield, was set up in 2010 by Toby and Caroline Mckenzie.
The pair are in the process of opening a second bar in Buxton.
