Alderley Edge ladies played a Chicken Run Stableford and Celia Berent showed her class winning a cpo on 33 points from Gywneth Holt, two more than Lisa Burns and Mary O’Toole.

There was some hot scoring in a BB Stableford for Davenport’s men led in by S Johnson and J Bowe with 49 points from M Will and P Beard 47 and G Dodds and R Hill and A Milne and Ian Faulkner, both 46.

A 14-hole Stableford for Davenport ladies was won by Jane Bamford with 29 points ahead of Danuta Silva 28 and Margaret Bruce and Elaine Sloane, both 37.

A Three Clubs and a Putter Stableford for Macclesfield ladies was won by Lady Captain Marlene Connor with 20 points from Wendy Higgins 17 and June Sumner 16.

A Four Club Stableford for Styal seniors had Harry Reid showing his enduring class as he posted 37 points to lead in from Martin Ogden 36 and Neil Appleby, Paul Carr and Michael Collier, all 34.

A Presentation Day Texas Scramble at Styal had the top trio of J Reeves, T Beckett and E Parker leading in with 62.7 from P Cordwell, Tom Bloor and D Chester 64.7.

A Sunday ‘Open to All’ Stableford at Styal had Antony Bardsley first past the post with 37 points from Sam McLeod 35 and Andy Sharrocks 32.

Ladies Winter League action had the familiar name of Enid Laverty in top spot with 29 points, well clear of Kath Goodall 24 and Helen Billington 23.

It was tight in an individual Stableford at Mottram Hall with four players locked on 38 points.

Getting the nod in the cpo was Olivia Brewster from Nigel Woods, Mike Robinson and Sam Lynch.
